We previously reported a new approach for micromanipulation and encapsulation of human stem cells using droplet-based microfluidic device. This demonstrated the possibility encapsulating culturing difficult-to-preserve primary hematopoietic an engineered double-layered bead composed by inner layer alginate outer Puramatrix. also maintenance expansion Multiple Myeloma in this construction. Here, presented technique is applied to construct 3D biomimetic model recapitulate cell niche hydrogel beads cultured 10% FBS culture medium.
